About Us
Bay Leash began during a time when I was dealing with my own health challenges.
My dog Layla became more than just a pet—she became a daily companion through everything. We spent our time hiking, swimming, and building a bond that shaped how I see the relationship between people and their dogs.
Around that same time, Layla was diagnosed with Addison’s disease. Caring for her while managing my own health created a connection that was built on consistency, trust, and showing up every day.
I started making collars and leashes for her, then for friends and family. Eventually, that grew into Layla Bay LLC and Bay Leash.
Today, that same mindset carries forward with my dog Betty—and now with my family, including my son, who gets to grow up experiencing that same bond.
Bay Leash is about more than gear. It’s about creating tools that support real connection, time spent together, and the experiences that come with it.
Long term, the goal is to give back—supporting causes connected to seizures, service animals, and dogs with Addison’s disease.
